Sounds like 4th of July fireworks going on out back along the creek...hope the lads have a good morning.

At least it cooled off over night, almost chilly out there !!!

Hope everyone is safe out there and having a great morning. I was out for Northern opener last week and got some birds. Now I'm counting the days until I get out for ducks next weekend. Let's see some pics!

I am surprised there's not one report up yet. I know its still early but there has been time for atleast one keener to get out there and shoot some geese and post about it.

I couldn't hunt this morning, but am either hunting geese on water tonight or maybe some doves with a friend. haven't seen many geese on this pond I want to hunt, but just want to get out and sit, and maybe cover my blind a bit better too. my buddy hasn't seen any doves this morning while hes been out yet, so that's why I am torn because I might as well go get some work done at my blind and maybe see some geese!!

This is the first one of the season. We were standing in the middle of the decoys shootin' the sheet when it came coasting in silently. Some say "uneducated", I say "death wish".

You want a report? Sure I headed out on the water this morning by seven, and over the next few hours there were geese to my right, geese to my left, geese behind me and geese out in front........half a mile to my right, half a mile to my left, half a mile behind me and half a mile out in front.

Geese 1 Me 0.

Time for round two....

We bagged 2 this morning. There were a ton of ducks flying around. I can't wait for the duck opener!
