Vehicle License Plate Renewal
Just ordered up our new sticker on line. I noticed that while I pay $108.00 ( as of Sept.1 new fee), it says "Northern Ontario pays $54.00."
What ???? Why? And what is considered the dividing line for Northern On. as far as the fee difference is concerned?

It's been a slow week.
and some of the people I have to drive around with in the GTA should be only allowed to drive a horse and Buggy out in a 40 acre field.
HAPPY THURSDAY.

North of Parry Sound...
Cheaper vehicle tags, no cost for stickers for snowmobiles (discovered that yesterday for my first sled!), no emissions testing, and you can run studded snow tires.
But fuel is more expensive... currently 105.6 in Sudbury; 97.9 in Vaughan, 93.7 in Peterborough.
Heating the house costs more.
I live in the bush.... way out of town... a whole 20 minute commute to work. I won't even start on the housing costs and property taxes...

That 90 % isn't far off if the Mennonites and Amish keep migrating up here? What did you guys do to them down there to make them leave and relocate? Oh well, I'd rather see horse s##t on the road than a mosque on the corner!
