Their's not enough hours in the day to do everything.I skinned the bear out in the morning after getting it registered at the MNR. It dressed out at 236.2 pounds, the shot ripped the heart and blew out both lungs and part of the lungs came out the slug hole. She only had about an inch of fat. Most of the teeth were gone and the front teeth were jagged fragments. The pads were 5.5 inches wide, lol,I forgot to measure the chest.
The butcher was leaving when I arrived to pick up two huge bags of moose scraps, then I had to go to two restaurants to pick up oil. No rest for the wicked, lol. After,I take care of the scraps ,I'm going out to bait and change the cards.
About three to four more weeks of baiting, then I'll call it quits. I plan to doing a lot of hunting and scouting for next year.Another cottage owner asked me to kill another bear,so I offered to bait and draw all the Bears away from the cottages and it happens to be in one of the zones that I guide.
