I wonder if they have done a study to predict the increase in the amount of road deaths due to "stoned driving" if they legalize the sale to everyone. And will people be allowed to smoke while hunting and fishing? A lone duck flies by and the hunter see 10, makes it hard to miss!!
Because you think no one is doing it already?!? What about painkiller or antidepressant? Just like alcohol is going to have rules, nothing new there....

Tell that to the parents of the two teens that died in Vaughn Sunday, and the 3 others in hospital.

Or the parents of these two

People, just as some don't obey gun rules, especially youth.......

Are we mature and ready as a society? Personally I don't think so.

You are right so let prohibit alcohol and limit car speed and so on.... The fact is, a lot of people use weed so let add a tax to it.

Actually it won't cost jobs. It will move them from the underground economy to being legit jobs. So although I disagree with legalising pot, economically, its probably a good thing.

The best way to screw something up is to let the government run it. The price will be double or triple what it is now and it will likely be illegal to grow your own in the backyard to avoid paying tax on it. If people were allowed to grow for personal use free from government and taxes it would likely work but otherwise it will likely be a clusterf@#k of liberal proportions.

I believe we were used to be allowed to grow up to 5 plants/year for personal consumption until the last year. Then a legal grow up was supposed to open in Muskoka but I'm not too sure where this is at right now.
Liberal, Conservative or else were going to do something about it, can't be hypocrite for ever.....

Seabast I am more in favor of decriminalizing. There are good arguments for and good arguments "against". my question if you will is.

Are we ready for it and by that I mean todays youth? I can only answer no, not remotely.

More reasons to weight this carefully?
Cannabis is probably the very worst thing for people struggling with anxiety and depression.
Huge and growing issue these days, especially for college aged youth.

So by all means, lets jump in with both feet.

Seabast you are right about conservative being a hypocrite. Some of the buildings were government funding for medical grow ops and i mean millions of dollars. All from harper.
