And JT wants to pull out of this fight
http://news.nationalpost.com/news/wo...er-isils-thumb
daily reports of unheard of brutality by savages and JT feels we have no part in helping fight this. ISIL make the WW2 Nazis look like boyscouts. What will our world reputation look like when he's done? He wants to open the floodgates and let in unscreened people who will most certainly feel entitled to change our values and way of life and also likely let terrorist sleepers in too.
I’m suspicious of people who don't like dogs, but I trust a dog who doesn't like a person.

Has too much time on their hands
He doesn't want to "whip out" our CF-18's. This way he can get to the root cause of why ISIL behaves like they do. I volunteer him to go over and talk to the ISIL leaders.

not sure what you are referring to.
I do follow once in a while media outside North America and haven't come across all that much negativity towards Canada in general and nothing where Harper got blamed in the sense that it would hurt our reputation.
Our media here is against him (and by not reporting all facts and broadcasting them evenly, I have concerns how "free" they are). Globally, I really haven't seen where he "hurt" us. If you have a bunch of examples, please share.

by participating in a coalition fighting these barbaric savages he hurts our reputation? So you would leave Isis free to expand and murder more women And children in the most brutal ways? Thank god people didn't have your values when we had to stop Hitler. I must say though you are consistant. Your hatred of Harper is more important than saving little girls from rape and slavery.
tell me, do you think the Holocaust was a hoax? People like you seem to think discussing it can offend Muslims and lord knows that's more important right? Don't bother responding I know your answer already.

This should be in the politics section.
Few thoughts.
Canada's so called reputation taking a hit. By whom, G...The UN (those same people that have Saudis, some of worlds most notorious abusers of humans rights...)? That particular spin by the left is one of the funnier ones.
Internally, did Canada's reputation take a hit? Id say so and I'll even cede/grant it suffered a little but please....
Lets look at some facts.
EU trade deal. Something all parties/leaders have tried to get done since the 70s. Only Harper made progress and got it inked.
Other trade deals
Does that sound like a country whose reputation has taken a hit?
But the fact immigration here increased, continues to and more, says all that needs to said. That's not to say there isn't some merit, but please. Ever notice the loudest decriers were those....
Lets see, lets pretend JT instead was our Leader this past 2-3 years. With comments such as
~The Boston Marathon Bomber was just misunderstoon and feeling alienated....
~Putin is just sore he lost at hockey
~We should be sending them winter jackets
~They just want to whip them out
I daresay, our reputation would have and Im guessing likely will suffer more. Not unlike Torontos reputation suffered with Rob Ford at the wheel. We (he) will be a laughing stock and the butt of many jokes.
On ISIS/ISIL?
Once again it seems the left doesn't listen to the people we should be listening to.

Maybe, just maybe if the left in Canada had instead found the backbone to do the right thing instead of gnashing teeth, wringing hands and more.
There wouldn't be 4 million Syrian refugees and other atrocities occurring.
*****
Either way, you know there was a time not many years ago when Canada was the butt of many jokes, not to be taken seriously at all and not a player at all. The only people who cared what the world thought of Canada outside our borders, was us.
Not so true today. or worded another way. Go back to the 1990s, early 2000s...
We've gained a lot of respect. While I will agree our "reputation" has taken a few small dings in a couple area's........Its far better in other area's.
A win for Harper and us

Once this clown allows 25,000 so called refugees into this country, we will have the fight brought to us. Perfect scenario to allow ISIS lowlifes to infiltrate this country.
