I would actually argue the big announcement is the sale of Hydro One going ahead despite Stephen LeClair's report saying otherwise. The sale has the potential to cost more than it brings in.

with all the credible advice telling her she is about to seriously harm this Province's financial position and impose major hardship of ratepayers going forward she is pressing on. This woman is like a Crack addict that is so so hooked on power she will throw us all under the bus for a short term buzz. How the hell the voters of this Province don't see that amazes me.Once this deal is done and Hydro sold off to her friends it can't be reversed.

"Like a crack addict hooked on power"
Back when she won the crown ( I still have my doubts about that being legitimate) I recall warning she was a control and power freak.
Other than new things coming up, as they always do with this admin every few weeks.
Bend over.
By the time 2018 rolls this province, more accurately the working stiffs are going to in brutal shape imo
Good job GTA and Unions. Self important and entitled, you've gutted everyone else.
Can only imagine how bad it might get between
Hydro
Taxes like ORPP/Carbon
Land transfer taxes
And any ill winds like rates.
If and when the next election is held and those who have had their heads in the sand for many year wake up, how strong the backlash will be.
No sympathy really, you reap what you sow. While I wouldn't want it (many PS are just people caught in the middle) I won't argue too strongly against Unions being brought to their knees (not unlike what is occurring to just normal people) and PS taking hits where warranted.
How ironic that the working stiffs without pension are seeing their home equity (their nest eggs) gutted
Insane Hydro rates and soon LT taxes double.

I am waiting for the Liberals to announce they are raiding the teachers pension fund... Rex has it right, unions being partisan and Liberals doing payoffs.....
Rex Murphy: If Ontario’s teachers unions are non-partisan, then bulldozers are flying machines
http://news.nationalpost.com/full-comment/rex-murphy-if-ontarios-teachers-unions-are-non-partisan-then-bulldozers-are-flying-machines
Their pension fund, according to figures from last year, reaches over $154 Billion — with a B — dollars, and has an investment portfolio that in its range and value makes Donald Trump look like a gaudy pauper.
..
The whole country has learned, conveniently after the federal election, through a quite wonderful harmony of government and unions, the Ontario government subsidized anywhere from $2.5 to $7.1 million (depending on the period under review) the unions which come to the government seeking salary increases.
..
If they are non-partisan, well then, bulldozers are flying machines, rabbits are doing cutting-edge quantum physics, and Tim Hudak is the next Justin Bieber.
..
Much like Premier Wynne, who was more activist than premier during the recent federal election, doing everything for the Liberal campaign short of taking it completely over, the Ontario unions both in cast and personnel did what they could to see the end of Mr. Harper and contribute to the electoral apotheosis of Mr. Trudeau. While the unions obviously couldn’t afford to finance their own negotiations, they had more than enough to fund various efforts for their favoured party. Some have suggested there was something “suspicious” in the Wynne government defraying their negotiating expenses — it was even hinted at in the Toronto Star, which is something of a court record for the Liberal understanding of the world — while they, the unions, were busy with donations on the campaign trail.
..
There is no scandal here. It is all as it Liberally should be.

Agreed!!
theRebel.Media is growing atleast and according to them the Auditor General will look at the money handed over to the teachers without receipts.... but regardless of the results it is unlikely to stick in voters minds.

Get used to being ruled by the liberal elite. Wynne is entrenched with police and union protection and JT could be in for at least 2 and maybe 3 mandates. Pretty well nothing can be done now.
