More Attacks in Paris
Bombings, shootings and hostage taking.
Media frenzy with unclear and conflicting reports, but by most accounts the death toll is 60+ and climbing, an unofficial city lockdown is in effect, and it isn't clear how many incident locations there are.
Don't know where the vaunted European anti-terrorism tactical units are, but they sure as chit haven't been responding rapidly or effectively these last 2 years...

This is why we need to bomb them into the Stone Age. There is no reasoning with these animals.

The only thing that will change attitudes in this country is a ghastly attack by foreign agent provocateurs with a clear agenda. It's sad, but, liberals and progressives always have to learn the hard way, every time.

I hope you are wrong but we all know you aren't. Attacks like this are near impossible to predict and prevent which is why they are effective. It's because of situations like this that Harper brought in strict security measures. I wonder how safe the progressives feel tonight knowing that the liberals will open the floodgates and likely let in extremists who will attempt the same here? These extremists hidden among refugees aren't coming over for free dental work and a hug.

There's a report circulating now about an investigation and mass arrest throughout Europe that culminated a few days ago with umpteen ISIL arrests.
It was described as an extremely difficult and trying investigation that took 5 years and still wasn't "successful", as at least 2 suspects escaped arrest.
It's very likely they are the ones responsible for today's attacks.
If the Euro anti-terrorism units, interpol and other shared and independent intelligence agencies struggle with these terrorist groups... I fail to see how anyone thinks lil poor CSIS will ever keep us safe if an adept cell ever takes root in Canada.

Has too much time on their hands
100 to 140 dead so far.... and scrolling across the screen at the bottom is news that today apparently the new Minister of Defense was told to cancel the bombing in Iraq and Syria.
This was broadcast before Paris and the third speaker is talking about the refugees from ISIL ... 7,000 Yazidi girls kidnapped and sold as sex slaves, also Ezra's campaigned raised over $9,000 in aid!

While we can sit back in our warm and safe houses in Canada and criticize what hasn't been done, try to imagine the impact on everyone in Europe right now. My wife and I were just in Germany, France and Switzerland with my sister and brother in law. This sort of thing makes you appreciate just how lucky we are. One thing that Facebook has done is set up a page that allows people living in the Paris area to broadcast a message to their contacts that they are fine. We received such a message from a young lady that stayed with us as part of an exchange. Let's concentrate on some positive thoughts for those people in Paris.

I think ISIS will be decimated now.
