I take it you didn't like

• better firearm laws,
• billions of dollars in Canadians pockets from tax cuts,
• mandatory sentences for criminals and kicking criminals and terrorists out of Canada
• atleast better attempts at security and
• the harsher fines for companies that pollute and
• unions and reserves being accountable and
• cuts to the waste we see call CBC.

Which I guess if you like Justin Trupoo it would fit not liking Harper, they really are opposites in so many ways,

• Poodough lied almost every speech it seemed (especially about fictional cuts to programs),
• was an illegal drug user and bragged about it,
• wants to increase taxes and roll back tax cuts,
• wants to roll back mandatory sentences and let terrorists keep their citizenship....
• maybe it is the billions of litres of raw sewage in the St. Lawrence,
• unions being able to hide how they spend their money ...
• it has to be his admiration for the Chinese dictatorship
• and the 15%+ increase for CBC and billions in spending...
• or is it you like the idea of leaving ISIL to kill tens of thousands more creating even more refugees...
• carbon taxes... that must be it, you have too much money or
• is it the fact he took money from charities and school boards instead of donating....
• his arrogance and how he says Quebecers are the best Canadians...
• his financial skill... budgets balancing themselves...do you like that?
• oh, it is how when he saw how corrupt the Liberal senators were he kicked them all out....
• or is it how he muzzled immigration officers, won't allow the press at a meeting with Unions to announce his roll back of accountability laws and secret ballot legislation.

Personally I can't say I can find anything I like about Justin so far. I am sure as soon as parliament sits he will be shoving as much as fast as they can down our throats.

I mean if you prefer Justin Poodough over Harper (who definitely wasn't perfect)..... ah.... never mind no point in arguing with a viewpoint that likes Justin. I guess if Mao and Stalin and al-Baghdadi can have supporters so can Justin.... it just won't ever be me. I prefer money in my own pocket and a real leader that like honest people and our freedoms.

My questions are: how many crimes in Canada involved a firearm? How many were a long gun or bow? How many were in restricted or prohibited firearms? Now how many that involved a firearm where committed from a licenced and/or registered gun owner? How many firearms where stolen from a "law abiding citizen" where used in a crime? Now what about all the rest that where committed with an illegally acquired firearm (smuggled into the country, etc)?

IMHO most of the things the government could do to enforce stricter gun control would mainly effect the "law abiding" type and would be the easiest to show results in there favour and would strengthen support because of proven results regardless that it is impacting the said type of citizen. I know it would be hard to try and control smuggling and prevent the guns getting into the wrong hands.

I don't really know where I was going with this but has been on my mind. Thank you for letting me babble. Lol

News Flash! It can't be done, without legislating an end to cross border trade and traffic. If they do that it will sink our economy, for sure. But I suspect they will try chasing down the firearms of law-abiding citizens to create the appearance that something is being done, when nothing real gets achieved. It's like reducing green house gases, the only way that can realistically be achieved is by reducing world population numbers. The fewer the number people, the less green house gas required to supply their wants and needs.
