    Has it really become so sad that we feel the need to bring a tv out fishing or hunting to watch a bunch of overpaid cry babies. I'm with 35Waiain on this one.

    Yep if you can't miss the game then stay home! No place for a tv on the ice or while in camp!

    There is another problem. If you plan to watch the Leafs, not matter what your setup is, it won't be hockey you are watching...

    Agreed but watching the hockey game playing cards catching walleye in the ice hut.... Life doesn't get better

    Smartphone + radio app.

    Likely could also stream video, but you'll chew through data very quickly. I presume you're interested in the World Jrs? There was an identical thread last winter.

    Exactly. World Juniors, World cup.
    Lots of great hockey to be seen. Also, few people hunting at night at camp. Might as well see the game while playing cards and such.

    I wonder... would a digital Antenna pick up CBC out there?

    Words Juniors are my favourite sporting event of the year, i'll join ya.
    satellite tv has been a saviour for me, no video of course, but still keeps the mind away.
