I was a sail today and they indicated all the crossbow prices for Excalibur are going up. The bulldog was nice at my hands but for the price tag of 1199 plus tag I am still happy with my Excalibur exclipse xt which I picked up used for 560 shipped with a bag, extra broad heads and bolts.

I was in Basspro in Niagara Falls today and the micro was 999...that's a 100 more than I seen it a couple of months ago...It must be from our poor Canadian dollar...

I had a phoenix then exocet and now own a matrix and is seems to be a lot cheaper feeling, I know they had to give a little to make it lighter etc but it just doesn't feel the same!! I do like the compactness

Will after digging around I may pick up a bulldog. If I going to pull 280 pounds and get a work out I may as well shoot close to 400 fps. If I pick this bow up I will be shooting at minimum a 400 grain bolt with broadhead. Just wondering if anyone can recommend a good 150 grain broad head.
