This is the truth of the matter.

ASK first to go for a walk chances are you will be able to.

I agree 100%, this is a big deal.

We had some issues with people who always used to walk the dog on that property so why is it a problem now? They then started to claim that it was not private property and was crown land even though they walked around the gate with a huge sign on it.

Thanks guys, I am just so tired of hearing people say they aren't hurting anything they are just out walking. If they want to go walking then fine, ask first period. It's not right to just go wandering on someone else's property. My back forty is no different than a towns persons backyard. I leave things in my stands that I don't want messed with, I am careful not to go in areas that I know are bedding areas I stay out of the section for a reason. I am respectful to the neighbors property, lived here for 8 yrs and never been thru the whole concession cause I haven't asked for permission. I hear people say they can't find places to hunt so they sneak in places. Well no wonder you can't find a place, property owners are tired of trespassers. It amazes me when you find garbage in the bush and you know it's not from yourself or ones with permission. I was tired of looking for places to hunt and not be bothered by people that didn't have permission and interrupted your hunt. I made it a goal to own my own property. I worked 3 jobs for quite some time and bought my little piece of heaven so I wouldn't have to worry about not having a place to hunt. If I could do it so can others if they want to have a place to walk the dog without having to ask for permission. My rant

I notice that the first pics are two weeks apart (assuming your date timer is accurate) the first on a Saturday and the second on a Monday roughly around the same time of day. If nobody lives within 5Kms,it would seem that these folks have found a quiet place for a walk or are checking out the property (local realtors). Have you seen them since? Are there cottagers around rather than full time residents? If you can establish any kind of pattern when they're showing up,you could simply be there at the same time and have a chat.
My friend had the same problem which he solved by posting No Trespassing signs with another under them that said "Be advised that trap lines are present. Enter at your own risk." It stopped the Tilley hat crew, instantly.
If a tree falls on your ex in the woods and nobody hears it,you should probably still get rid of your chainsaw. Just sayin'....

I agree...I bought a place that is far off the beaten path to avoid humanity...so I don't like to see it being trespassed on either.

WOW what kind of a statement is that. The man has it posted and has the right to do that. Sounds like you would be the first one over the fence to trespass on private property.
