Year ago this winter was in Phoenix and saw Harbour Freight tools had a sale on battery maintainers for $5.99 each so I picked up 6 of them, gave three to my son and kept the other 3, hooked them up this winter to lawn mower, boat and summer car, just checked a couple of days ago and all three batteries are at full charge.
Hope for the best, prepare for the worst!

Any clock I have seen on a machine has been a little digital, similar to a watch. Even a mechanical clock will run for a year on a AA battery so I doubt that it would be the only parasitic drain.....
I have found newbies who get off my bike and hit the kill switch instead of the key.

The Kill Switch. Isn't that the thing you hit accidentally at the very worst moment ever?

When I first got my machine I was smacking my head in the wall trying to figure out why I couldn't start the machine. Talk about dumb and dumber.
I must have accidentally flipped the switch.

So found a good price for a battery I can get on line, now I cant find the acid to fill it. I am just going to make a trip to royal and get what I really need. After doing specs for hours on the net and being put on hold on the phone by people who know nothing, I should have just gone there to begin with. But at least I once again learned some thing new from you all, that that is always worth my time. Thank you and All the best: Don
