Has too much time on their hands
New electoral changes
So what do you think of:
1) PM that his father said in an interview he wanted a dictatorship and voters were idiots.
2) PM that himself has admiration for dictatorships when asked his favourite gov't.
3) PM that represents less than 4 out of 10 Canadians in the election
4) Now wants to change the electoral system without a referendum or vote first.

as for me... I signed.

Before you answer... just think... the PM's wife already has chef, two nannies, cleaning etc. and wants more staff... do you want them to decide the criteria for voting...???

There is only one way for these proposed changes to have any legitimacy and that is through a referendum, full stop. That won't serve the crooked self serving agenda of these Libranos though.
When Harper tried to reform the Senate and make it an elected body the Libranos blocked that too. So yes, the liberals are very much against true democracy and the fact P Trudough and his idiot son admire dictatorships isn't at all surprising.

I’m suspicious of people who don't like dogs, but I trust a dog who doesn't like a person.

Ah... usual liberal attack, can't argue the reality, can't even seem to face reality... a deflection attack on religion completely irrelevant to the discussion. Well if you prefer a self entitled, liar that spends more time doing selfies anything else... well atheists like Mao and Stalin had their followers and it is your choice, that is what freedom actually is, I figured you needed en explanation of freedom too.

have to give him credit for statement no.1 (although significantly more intelligent people continue to say this for as long as 2400 years)
the average person is too stupid and selfish to allow democratic governance to function.
JT becoming PM is proof! the two leading drivers for democracy are short-term greed and propaganda. there is limited sense in 49% of the population (and in our case often 2/3) to save money, if 51% will never do, because they can just "take it" from those who have (think of nicer words, like relative easement or various government retirement plans).
Back to the OP:
I said it on here before not long after he got elected (and people felt I suffer from cabin fever or similar), the Liberals are intentionally deteriorating Canadian society to position themselves for political success in the coming 1-2 decades. Changing the election system fits right in there.
I'm not saying our system is perfect, but the motivation for the Liberals is purely self-serving.

Zero transparancy that's their policy - just like any dictatorship.

The fact that there is some sort of election does not mean you will not end up with a dictatorship; eg. Third reich, communist eastern germany, north korea, the list is long...

According to Huffington... dictatorship IS the plan

It's becoming clearer as the days of Trudeau's Liberals wear on: if elected Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau would turn Canada into a dictatorship.
This is the man who admitted he "admires China's basic dictatorship." It wasn't just a sarcastic comment - he seriously said that he admires the dictatorship because they can get things done quickly.
And it's becoming clearer that Trudeau not only admires the dictatorship -- he runs the Liberal Party like one too.
How else can one explain the police-enforced acclamation of Andrew Leslie as the Liberal candidate for Orleans? Even with hundreds of Liberals attending the meeting to show their support for another candidate (and former Trudeau leadership rival), it was clear from the beginning that Leslie was Trudeau's hand-picked favourite, and certainly wouldn't be stopped by pesky processes like "democracy."

I'd much rather have that, than TrueDOPE. And by the way, since when is God a sky fairy? And we wonder why the world is in such a mess.
