I have the same thing, 2012 Laramie bought new now with 165K. Noticed the ticking at around 60k. Brought it into the dealer and they mentioned as you already know, the "hemi tick". 100+k's later and there's no difference, runs as good as it did on day 1. I wouldn't worry about it if it's the engine but would investigate if it's something else ie exhaust.

Definitely sounds like the early 2000s F150's manifold leaks.

I thought it was torque converter but not sure. Goes away when you put it in 5th or towhaul, also when trans is put in neutral, sounds like trans/torque to me but rest of world thinks mds.
I have a full diagnostic's scheduled so will see what they have to say!!
