Wind company asks landowners to ban hunting

I was going to ask....are there any deer hunters on here who are affected by these Windmills in the area they hunt. Do deer even graze near around these wind farms ?

I'm sure if a farmer was asked to ban Coyote hunters from their properties, they wouldn't be to obliging.

actually mike the farm i hunt has a windturbine on it...the deer are walking 20 yards from it and directly below the blades. they arent affected by them whatsoever as far as i can see they must adapt to the noise. although annoying they help show when the wind is changing directions and from a mile away i can plan my hunting spot based on seeing which exact way the wind points. but the noise does deteriorate the hunting experience if not covering some of the sounds walking ito the stand but we respect the wind turbine company and hunt far from it. they should be more worried about the vandalism and graffiti ive seen scratched into the paint which is garunteed by the mfg for 7 years lol I park my truck at the entrance and hang an orange vest from the back of the truck...hoping people realize its kinda universal language "hey im hunting here". plus im pretty sure they only own the roadway and gravel plot the turbines sit on the fields surrounding them belong to my uncle who would prob tell them to stick it if they said no hunting.

My objections to wind have nothing to do with any of those reasons. Simple economics. Massive subsidies for unreliable capacity that is not even needed. Anytime the wind blows we have to essentially give the power to the US or Quebec at a loss of $500 million per year. Utter stupidity.

Do they shut these things down when power is not needed,the reason I ask is that coming down the 35/115hwy I see these seven on the horizon and they are not turning.I passed today when there was a wind and nothing.

Some are already shut down and we pay the owners for what they would have made this way claims the Liberal government we save money by not selling it at a lost.
