I watched. Trump started out ok but she knocked him off the tracks. As I expected she would. This gong show is going to get worse. If Trump wins he will be the most protectionist President ever. That's not good for Canada.

I watched, I thought he did pretty good. He did get off track a few times but he did look like he was in charge (or is it louder) most of the night...

I thought he started out well, but,as time went on,he reverted back to his old belligerent self and Hillary just kept feeding it to him. I hope his advisors kick his comb-over around the block. If he performs the same in the next debate as he did in this one,he might as well fold his tent and head back to the penthouse. He'll be done like dinner and Clinton will waltz back to The White House like a cake walk.

Trump pinned himself in a corner tonight. Neither did a great job in my opinion, but Hillary was less-bad. I'm excited to see what trump does when he's cornered... I see wild entertainment in the near future.

He made an attempt at politeness tonight, i don't see that arc carrying through the other debates.

Oh I don't think this leopard can change his spots. He didn't prepare himself and it showed but he will somehow convince himself he won. He even started to argue with the fact checking moderator. When you start to argue with a person whose primary job it is to allow the debate to flow and call both people out on their BS, you have a serious issue. He will no doubt try to spin this like the moderator was bias against him when really he was being called out because he was slinging more BS. His ego isn't tripping him up, it has him bound and gagged.

The moderator was easy on Clinton but that's a given with the media. I don't remember any questions on Benghazzi and not many on emails either. Regardless Trump is a poor debater and telling people you are a successful businessman isn't enough to qualify you for the most powerful position on this planet. Unless he really ups his debate game he's toast.

A moderator should not be a fact checker because it depends on the moderator's knowledge of events then - he may think he knows something and he could be all wrong himself - the moderator was wrong when he said that Trump was - for the Iraq war and he was also wrong when he said stop and frisk as done in NYC was deemed unconstitutional - even the former mayor Giuiliani pointed that out later - he should know because he started it - I don't think that the debate changed anyone's mind - people have already made their mind up as to who they are going to vote for - the country's falling apart and they are worried about seeing someone's income taxes -

a guy makes $630 million in a year, avoids paying any income tax, and then expects the electorate to believe that he's a working man's hero ? I hope more than a few picked up on that one

I'm no fan of hers but she played him well, and just see what happens if Putin ever has his turn
