Out yesterday in Prince Edward county. Flushed first woodcock of the season (and missed). Makes me think they're starting to trickle through. I do not see local birds there ever.

Has too much time on their hands
Saturday, north of Barrie. 4 WC produced 6 flushes plus 1 ESG flushed. 1 WC in the bag makes for pretty thin soup! Never would have found him without the dog. Still not getting into any numbers of birds, but its gotta be imminent.
