I left lots of birds for you.

The army has a thing called "instinctive shooting," then there's the swing-through and the constant lead technique and so on. I have my own technique ... I call it "conservation shooting."

    It conserves everything but ammo.

    (6 in the bag.)

Zero woodcock contacts today north of Barrie ... I'm thinking they are definitely in the most southern areas of the province.

6 in the bag of a dozen pointed. Went looking for them but think went too far south. Think they are still holding between here and there. Ticks real bad picked off quite a few off the girl.

Nice, good job on the woodcock finsfurfeathers! Do you treat your dog with any tick medication? I've used Advantix 2 (for both fleas and ticks) for the last three years and I've never found a tick on Tessa.

Your Vet doesn't know much about tick prevention. I use Advantix II and never get ticks. Ever. They just don't attach. Fabulous product.
I’m suspicious of people who don't like dogs, but I trust a dog who doesn't like a person.
