I've seen a few rubs and scrapes in 65 but have not been out much yet. Looking forward to next week.

Still not seeing real rutting action. Watched a few does from the blind today but I'm thinking things will heat up next week.

Just started seeing rubs and alot bigger tracks around now. Tail end of the gun hunt usually sets off the Rut in my area

Starting to see more a bit more deer movement in WMU 13 over the past week, but no rubs or scrapes on my property yet - usually have some by this time. Most of my buck pictures are still at night. Put in some food plots this year but didn't get much growing time for the winter rye due to when I could get the equipment in.

Wolves have killed off most of the local deer around my property this year based on my (lack of) trail camera pictures and talking with neighbors. After a couple of bad winters in a row and being inundated with wolves, the deer just can't catch a break in this area.

I wasn't trying to stop him. Too early for me to think about taking a yearling. The grunting sounds were from HIM, not from me.

Watched a decent 6 pointer follow a couple does close last Sunday. Filled my antlerless tag on a button on Wednesday.
