They raise their young as a pack and not individually.
Don't have to feel bad about killing the offending adult.
There isn't any closed season on yotes.....................shoot them year round!!

The coyote is preying on his lambs which are his livelihood. Shoot every one you see. Coyotes are ruthless opportunist predators. That yote will kill everything he can, livestock , pets anything they can catch.

I hear you here. If you feel unconformable check with the farmer and see what he wants. I'm not in war with yote either, we just share the same dinner at the spot..... IMO, both way is okay.

When they destroy livestock this time of year, I simply explain the situation to the farmer and let him decide my course of action. Haven't seen a sympathetic farmer yet.

i wouldn't feel bad for having mixed feelings. it means you're a human being.
what you're doing however, isn't really hunting for sport as much as pest management. mice in a trap have babies. heck, i remember a friend had a raccoon taring apart his shed and after shooting mom, 3 more shots fired off for the babies...
sounds cruel, but thats the farming life.

Last time I checked, the coyote population wasn't in decline.

Taking game management attitudes towards species that don't need to be managed is silly.
