Try getting six wasp people in a house to agree on which restaurant to go to for dinner. Now add 2 vegans, 2 from Asia, 1 from Indo pacific, 1 from the Caribean, 2 from S. America.
Now add such things different regions, some need dairy, some are lactose intolerant ( think Rural/Urban).
In a household most understand that the 6 old school wasp will win the vote most of the time, but the wasp (cities) knowing that, will make an effort to give the others the time of day occasionally.
Politics these days.....Not so much tolerance and inclusiveness. See the article I linked.
FNs.
I will agree with you ( that's apparent) that we historically not treated them well. No one has, anywhere in the world, and they did enjoy wiping each other out, taking each others land and resources and even today, fight amongst themselves over land claims, whether pipelines should go through ancestral land or not and benefit from the economic windfalls, etc, etc.
Truth of the matter is Terry, no one cares. If the cities did, they'd make more noise about it, and the politicians would listen. Or were you not around Christmas when the whitepeoplekind made all kinds of noise about a few that flew south...My oh my heads rolled fast. Drinking water and "thanks for the donation"?
So, when it comes to the US and what they did, do or don't. Look around our own backyard and 10 dozen different issues. Did you know we are one of the worst polluters, worse than the US...
800,000 Ontarians without GPs....Vaccines,,,and yet we always look down our noses at the US. "funny that"
please, we have nothing to be smug about.
