Mandatory game survey is a waste of time. I see the same deer 6 times during my hunt. My buddy that I hunt with sees the deer too. Then my neighbour sees the same deer 3 times. So we all report this large number of deer activity. So how does that help manage the population. We end up will more tags in an area that has less deer. People can lie and say they saw lots of deer hoping to get extra tags the following year.

I was able to complete the survey with no problems at all. I'm sure what I did differently or correctly, but I finished it on Wednesday

So of the 11 total questions, one asks how many animals of that species you saw, and that one question makes it a waste of time? And there are significant fines if your caught providing false info. (although hard to enforce I agree, I'm not taking that chance).

Even though the new website directs you to using the electronic reporting, appears it isn't working yet. Posting both Survey ID and postal code comes up with an error. Guess we will have to wait until after the 26th. I know it says you can't buy a licence, didn't see any reference that your could not complete the surveys.

I had a problem accessing the site using my IPad. No problems when I tried with my desktop computer.
