Celebrating this woman's death is how gun owners and hunters get the reputation for being knuckle-dragging jackasses.

You are 100% right Badenoch, that Lady deserved not to die.It is a sad story.May rest in peace.
It is also sad that the driver has to take this responsibility on his/her soul just because someone was at the wrong place. It will be interesting to see how the media will play the driver's responsibility.
At the other hand-how do You think this should be handled by hunters and fishermen and shooters?Any recommendations??
It was on this very forum, when some of the members said same things(like Darwin award) over and over about hunters and shooters doing stupid mistakes and almost killing themselves ....?that does not count? The way i see it here -they cut both ways?
I know what the public perception is about......
Yet
When in this world will be a day, when groups, people with different opinions( different from mainstream media and the ones dictate what is right and what is wrong)will be told-You also count for something?
Why always-eh......,You just go in the corner, sag your head and shut up.
Why smacking always the people, who in great majority do nothing wrong-and their only issue (?!)is that they dare to think/say otherwise?

Darwin Award. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
If a tree falls on your ex in the woods and nobody hears it,you should probably still get rid of your chainsaw. Just sayin'....

Her death has nothing to do with hunting, fishing or gun owning so there's no need to say anything at all. Laughing and high-fiving over the death of this woman doesn't reflect well.

What kind of responses do you expect for somebody stupid enough to stand or jump in front of a moving big rig truck? Moron fits my thoughts on the matter...

If you don't stick your fingers in a whirring blender, you'll have all your fingers at the end of the day. My compassion goes out to the truck driver.

How about respectful that a woman lost her life instead of laughing about it? Or is that too much of a stretch for you?

A stretch? I think you live on the same level as that woman.
