I only got involved in this discussion because the OP is faulty in it assertion "we are the slowest country" that is incorrect, period.

But what is interesting is that Canada is actually ahead of China in giving out the vaccines per 100,000 population according to GW link.

So we are vaccinating more than China even after they did us the dirty.

I think your playing Monday morning quarter back. Who had a crystal ball and knew the Chinese were hiding the source of the virus, held back the genetic fingerprint for weeks, deceived the WHO and are still apparently deceiving them.

How would a Conservative Government have been any different, would they not have relied on China for PPE or vaccines, they had trade agreements with China in place all over the place.

But the WHO still praised China.

China said to the world in early January that it was covid 19 aka coronavirus. By mid January it was around the world

It wasn't until March 11th the WHO called it a pandemic. The WHO knew exactly what the coronavirus was capable of in the fall of 2019. So it spread for months before the even did anything.

Nope I am using your stats from your own link, perhaps you would like to look it up and display the results for the forum readers ,I know exactly the number but will give you the opportunity to locate another more favorable one from your POSTED LINK if you can find one.

If you look at the number of people vaccinated we are way behind China. If you are looking at a statistical modeling such as number of people vaccinated per 100,000 people or as a percentage of your population we look better not because we are performing better but rather because the country we are comparing ourselves with has a MUCH larger population.

No one in the English speaking free world believes the numbers coming out of China. They've been disregarded from day 1 when satellite surveillance showed them digging mass graves but said they had stopped the virus.
