Nobody can see everything around them but science works to prove what is going on and how they got here.

Are you aware of what dark matter is? Do you know how they find these particles and count them? The idea of God is just an idea that someone came up with, the idea of evolution has been proven. The sun centered universe has been proven. The earth not being flat has been proven. The earth is not 3600 years old, this has been proven. God has not been proven, 4000+ years since the beginning of the jewish faith and still nothing and there never will be proof.

Believe in whatever you want to believe but to come out and say that bible thumpers mean good and just people is total BS.

I don't think I am brainwashed - I spent a lot of time reading and studying various religions and related matters - I was born into a Catholic family - went to Catholic School for awhile but left the Church because I had issues with its doctrines - there were a lot of questions that I had and after spending a lot of time studying the scriptures I concluded that Jesus was who He said He was and that the Bible is inspired - a lot of smart men started out to disprove the Bible only to find themselves believers at the end - I would say that my acceptance of the Christian faith isn't a case of being brainwashed but rather a choice after extensive study -

I must congratulate everyone on the way contributors to this post have acted for the most part - we were able to discuss a controversial subject in a mature way without blasting each other - there is always a tendency not to talk about certain subjects because they are controversial but when that happens we never really get the feel what other people think and why - we should be able to discuss anything with an open ,fair mind and with respect - let me just leave you with this one last thought - if I am completely wrong in my belief and at the end there is no God and I cease to exist like everyone else - we are all in the same boat - I lose nothing - on the other hand if I am right then some folks will be hurting - big time - Amen

Not sure how anyone can believe anything produced and repeated by man today. We've been ruled by criminals with an agenda for centuries.

I've always had a problem with dinosaurs. I've called BS on them since I can remember. "Oh look more bones in isolated areas away from humans", I call BS.
