The books are flying off the shelves. Can't be that bad to everyone. Or does it simply upset drama queens?
So, is this ok?

Everyone should be offended by such illustrations, in a children's book. Collectors always buy up, books not being printed anymore. Seems the people most upset, are those against removing them. Drama queens? Should racist images still be printed, in children's books? Nobody is trying to silence , Samuel Clemens.

Persons of color I know were so pissed off at the attack ad's made by Conservatives on this went out and voted for him even more. I asked them if they were not offended and basically they told me it was Halloween everybody dress's up so what is the big deal. In the end they were madder at the attack ad's. LOL

Your little hero is about to be spanked again. The WE scandal will bite him in the back end in the very near future. Jail time?
"COVER-UP ALERT: Law Clerk reveals that the government did not reveal all WE Scandal documents Finance committee ordered released in summer and that the government is blacking out information it claims is "not relevant".

Exactly, these Dr Seuss books, the early disney movies, war time propoganda should be viewed in context at an age when people can look at things critically, not when they are little kids. They are not cancelling Dr Seuss, they are deciding as a business not to publish these 6 titles anymore.
I hate these books though, the grammar is horrible, I do not want that taught to my kids.

Wrong ... that is not what I said. I said parents and educators must use discretion for ANY material put in front of a child.
Just because it is a cartoon doesn't automatically make it child-friendly material. God forbid if we put the Simpsons in front of a 5 year old ...
