I carry most of the time - all I'm asking for is a chance to defend myself if some nutjob with a gun comes near me - the guys name tells me a lot right off the bat -

Ya, many of them do not have the training needed, let alone some random person off the street.

As Joe said. It's the right to defend myself if it ever comes down to that.
Noone knows whats it's like to be shot at, The sound of gun fire when you know the bullets are directed at you will shake up anyone. I don't care how much pro gun training you have.
Hell I know some pretty damn good paper punchers that get all shaken up when buck or coyote walks out in front of them.
