The problem is its lake effect snows 1000ft could make a difference. . Was out this afternoon and the areas kept changing for snow amounts. I dont think they will be well organized so less snow over a larger area.

Having enjoyed the original ice storm and no power for 3 weeks I'm ready for this one.
I have enough firewood for 6 years I can cook no problem without electricity and have 200 litres of fuel on hand for my generator.
Here's hoping.
I hope your fuel is at least ethanol free.

Merry Christmas to all and hopefully another great hunting and fishing season for everyone.
Stay safe during the upcoming storm and remember why we have a Christmas.

That sounds like a great dinner.
We decided turkey since we haven't had it in a while. The prices are crazy just a few years ago we would do several turkeys a year but not lately.
Prime rib is on sale today and tomorrow for 6.88 a pound ( edit zehers lol not independent), we got some a few weeks ago at 8.88 a pound . Getting a few more for the freezer. Probably won't go on sale again till February.

No but I treat it with sea foam a fuel stabilizer and it is rotated every 6 months. But I do have an issue with the genny, it's not running 100%, when I tested it back in Sept I had to keep the choke 25 % on so carb issue. It will be fine for now but I really need to fix it as I consider it probably one of my most essential tools that must run when required and it's my fault and no issue with money just pure laziness (Occasionally I do maker a mistake.)

Probably about 10-15 cm here in Russell over Dec 22 & 23 , really hard to tell as there are big drifts everywhere and probably nothing in the fields. I had drifts 5 ft high in my driveway.
First time for that.
Didn't expect the snow to be 3 ft over the blower.
Then the rain froze along the road and when the plow came by it all froze and on top of that had to do the neighbours drive way.
I think in total I cleared about 3000 sq ft.

Merry Christmas everyone... Left Stouville at 2 am the other nite and it took me 2 hours to get to Port Perry. The worst driving conditions I've ever been faced with. Stay safe and warm over the holidays....
