Not going to get into who should get the vaccine, pros/cons, etc but an mRNA vaccine does not alter your DNA or RNA in any way shape or form. Is it new technology? - Yes and No. Has it ever been successfully used in humans? Actually he agrees with me - the vaccine simply delivers instructions. The instruction are in the form of code that can be read by the DNA. Same as your brain can read English.

That portion of that video that is Gates is tiny and all he says is that there are instructions to make that shape (the anitbodies). The instructions are put into the cell or if you like the DNA - there are no physical changes to either the cell or the DNA. The DNA is the brain of the cell and It is the same as putting instructions into your brain to scratch your a$z when it is itchy - no physical changes to your brain just a momentary thought followed by the scratch.

The only part that mentions editing DNA is the conspiracy nut job after Gates who confirms exactly what i said - you would have to add CRISPR tech to the vaccine in order for it to modify DNA. So if you believe the nut bar after Gates than you believe that they (whoever they are) have added CRISPR tech to the vaccine. If you believe that than i have some land down in Florida to sell you.

I also suspect that the Gates portion of the video is part of a much longer Gates video and is just a snippet that is probably taken completely out of context. In fact i would wager that whatever video that is taken from pre-dates COVID. Favourite technique of nut bars.

Assuming:
The risk of mild side effects/illness are the same as Covid. It's a wash, little different than being willing to smoke, eat smoked meat etc. At the end of the day its a wash.
The risk of moderate side effects, are the same as Covid. I dont know about anyone else but permanent lung damage......It's a wash, little different than.......

The risk of severe side effects. Its gets grey and to each their own. I'm guessing I'd survive Covid, but I'm getting up there, the risk of permanently being dead...My odds of having a "coronary event" are up there. Same thing, Im getting older and my Cholesterol could be better. To me, it's just part of life.

I imagine there are millions of Canadians in the same boat as I. If enough choose to get in line, well we've seriously ramped up the herd immunity engine. << This is what many proponents of herd immunity but are anti vax don't see. Even if I can still transmit the virus, if enough people step up, there are fewer, and fewer, and fewer that will get sick, and then one day we hit that sweet spot ( I forget where it is exactly).

No matter which way to look at it, pick your poison per se.
1 way, or one coloured pill brings us to herd immunity and the day we no longer need or scream for lockdowns and economic ruin. Which is gauranteed to be wide and deep and felt for years. Decades.

I have never said it should be mandatory, I think that is should be a choice, but the using "Let God decide" is the dumbest thing out there. Let God decide but keep them on a ventilator. Let God decide but cut them out of a car wreck. Let God decide but use CPR to save them.

God does not do any saving, people with brains and training do the saving. Without education and science there would be no saving anyone, it is not God and God does not play any role in any of it.

I will always take first and foremost the opinion of a front line worker who is in the thick of it over that of a desk jockey bureaucrat shuffling numbers like a deck of cards.
The stats are being manipulated in order to serve an agenda. It is more than proven that the vast majority who get covid will shrug it off after a few days of feeling crappy. Nothing new and the same with any seasonal flu and then you have herd immunity. In regards to the more severe cases if we can treat them NOW with a drug until a traditional vaccine is made available and save lives in the process would that not be a logical step to take?

You'll have to do the math for the death rate.
I've been regularly monitoring the death rate since they started posting these numbers. They're accurate and have been update daily since May.
The other day I looked we were tied for 25th for worst covid death rate in the world.
We've used virtually zero therapeutic drugs and it shows.
The media have treated any suggestion of therapeutics as doom and gloom. The evidence is all there to see if you want to go look.
Remember we're talking about a media that has encourage removing all guns if it could save one life. That's been well-documented over decades.
What I've watched the media do over the last 8-9 months is something out of the freaking Twilight Zone.
These media outlets deserve no credibility.

Even with a vaccine now available the most vulnerable will not be first in line to get the shots.

Seems it will be harder than they thought to get the vaccines into the long term care homes. Maybe some will get them but I think the first to get them will the front line worker's before the elderly dying daily.

Too many bumpy roads to get them to these homes the vaccine is to unstable for that.

I spent the summer on a ship in Brazil with a Swedish captain. He told me COVID wasn't a real issue at home. I imagine it's like the American election....it depends on who you talk to.

Not sure if this has been mentioned here yet.

When Briand looked at the 2020 data during that seasonal period, COVID-19-related deaths exceeded deaths from heart diseases. This was highly unusual since heart disease has always prevailed as the leading cause of deaths. However, when taking a closer look at the death numbers, she noted something strange. As Briand compared the number of deaths per cause during that period in 2020 to 2018, she noticed that instead of the expected drastic increase across all causes, there was a significant decrease in deaths due to heart disease. Even more surprising, as seen in the graph below, this sudden decline in deaths is observed for all other causes.

This trend is completely contrary to the pattern observed in all previous years. Interestingly, as depicted in the table below, the total decrease in deaths by other causes almost exactly equals the increase in deaths by COVID-19. This suggests, according to Briand, that the COVID-19 death toll is misleading. Briand believes that deaths due to heart diseases, respiratory diseases, influenza and pneumonia may instead be recategorized as being due to COVID-19.

“All of this points to no evidence that COVID-19 created any excess deaths. Total death numbers are not above normal death numbers. We found no evidence to the contrary,” Briand concluded.

In an interview with The News-Letter, Briand addressed the question of whether COVID-19 deaths can be called misleading since the infection might have exacerbated and even led to deaths by other underlying diseases.

“If [the COVID-19 death toll] was not misleading at all, what we should have observed is an increased number of heart attacks and increased COVID-19 numbers. Look up DRG in the US for hospital funding. It stands for Diagnosis Related Group and it's how hospitals are funded related to the condition they treat. Well go figure it turns out that the group Covid is in happens to be near the top of the ladder with close to $40K for each case. Pretty easy to figure out what doctors were told to put on the death certificates. Funny thing is the whole system was initially put in place to prevent fraud by hospital administrations in the first place.

With 90% of 13,000 covid deaths coming from LTC homes, there's no justification for it.

Glaring statistics that paint a picture that this is a real kitten (not female genitalia) of a pandemic in regards to it's mortality rates.

There were 276,689 deaths in Canada in 2017
There were 283,706 deaths in Canada in 2018
There were 287,460 deaths in Canada in 2019

Although we know the numbers of deaths attributed to Covid is skewed at 13,431, using using 2019 total of 287,469 deaths...Covid deaths will increase the 2020 total deaths by about 4.6%.

To extrapolate...that is less than 5% of the deaths so far this year is due to Covid. And when you factor in that it's primarily a virus that is affecting seniors (96.6% of all Covid deaths) of which about 80% were in LTC facilitates most of them would have be part of the regular death rate (without Covid).

Truth is the normal average 'stay' in an LTC is 8 months...so Covid, primarily, just speed up the inevitable.

This pandemic it really has had very little impact on Canadians as a whole.

Total deaths attribute to Covid-919 : 13,431 or approx .03% of the population (38 Million)

The majority of deaths are in Seniors:

60-69: 945 (7.3%)
70-79: 2,398 (18.4%)
80+ : 9,216 (70.9%)

Total: 12,559 (96.6%) of all Covid related deaths is in those age groups.

Actually there have been. I have many close friends in South Africa. For first wave, there were rules ... they even banned cigarettes and alcohol sales. You couldn't even transport alcohol from your place to another household. But in the poorer communities, the rules were basically ignored ... up to 25 people in a taxi van the size of a grand caravan. They were on a serious run though ... I think at one point had the third or fourth highest number of infections ... it then settled, but now they are on their third wave. Government is imposing lockdowns again.

I've done work in South Africa and Namibia and have many friends and associates there and can confirm the above. Namibia also was as strict as RSA.

I had an employee stuck in Nigeria from March until August. Zero way out. Fully locked and nightly curfews

Travel restrictions may still be affected after a vaccine . Until the poorest countries can get a vaccine there will be of limits to travel.

Not sure about now, but in spring Nairobi was locked down. It's 5 million people. Aside from a few big cities, africa is mostly rural and very poor. Poor enough that if you look people down they starve. And the governments are poor enough (or smart enough) not to spend money they don't have. Outside of the northern arab countries, Johannesburg and the bad side of Nairobi, Africa is a pretty safe place to be. (North Africa - egypt, tunisia, morocco etc - is actually part of the middle east. It just looks like its in Africa when you look at a map).

While I don't agree with his claim that this Coronavirus doesn't really exist, the rest of his views on how it's been manipulated I do agree with.

He's has a good grasp on how this is playing out. I see it myself in merely looking at the data in the bigger picture. This is a 'kitten' of a pandemic, with 96.6% of the deaths are directly related to people who are already Immunocompromised. And even then, only affecting 1.4% (542k) of the population and only attributed in the death of .04% (14,800) of the population. Not much of a threat to society.

What I'm still wondering about is why they're NOT interested in the population that have the natural antibodies. If we had 542K confirmed cases, the real number infected is about 10x that..or about 5 million people or 13% of the population may have had the virus and are now NOT contagious and can go about their lives normally.

But there is no program to confirm those numbers and no program to help people find out if they have the anti-bodies. Because it's not something the Government wants you to know, then still try to keep us under lock-down.

Even with the number of deaths inflated, it's still very low. In 2018 almost 285k people died in Canada (pop 38 million)..that is just under .7% of the population..that is fairly average.

In 2020, even with inflated numbers, the virus related deaths of .04% of pop addd o the annual total..the death rate will still under 1%.

Vancouver used for the test city and being the example of 50% having antibodies and now being immune is quite easy to see and understand. Look where the disease came from China and Vancouver has a large oriental population and a lot of traffic from Asia compared to eastern Ontario for example and other parts of rural Canada that don't have a oriental population or see a lot of Asian traffic.

It pretty easy, if people don't want to be vacined for whatever reasons, wear a mask or stay away from people outside of their circled they should pay of their own dime or not ask for help if they get sick.

Plenty of time to wait and see how the UK and the USA fare with vaccines. They can go first - test it for us Canadians. Science is science...vaccines work. Remember chicken pox and measles? I don't. I got vaccinated and never got them. Same with Polio and Mumps. They were all pretty serious back in my parents days. But hey - lets see if it works in places like California and Florida. By the time the average Joe Canadian can get a shot, we should be able to see some results from other places first. In the mean-time, stay safe, wear a mask and get outdoors where life is pretty normal in the bush.

If all the same precautions have to be taken after the shot there is no point in making it mandatory . Or make sense to have a vaccine pass card.

I'm on the list for the shot and looking forward to getting back to international business travel. I made do with Zoom calls for the past year but it's not the same. I wouldn't mind going to a Blue Jay or Ti-Cat game sometime this year too.

The truth is we really don't know what's going to to happen.

Training a virus to fight around the experimental treatment vaccine can't be a good thing.

Other points to look at is how no other coronavirus vaccine made it past the animal phase that worked in a positive response. What happens if the virus does become vaccine resistant? What if the vaccine does make it worse by strengthening the virus and then it becomes resistant to it..

We simply don't know what a mass vaccination will do or the effects it have down the road.

People need to wake up and realize that this could bring so many other problems that we have yet to discover. Maybe it won't but judging by the past coronaviruses a vaccine only made it more deadly later when exposed to the virus.

Do people really care that these big pharma companies are in it for the money. Phizer will be bumping up the price as the government needs it or do we really need it?. Most of the people saying we need it are all profiting from it so why wouldn't you tell the people in is the only route. The more they convince the people and government to take it the more profit they make.

My one son had Covid 19 awhile back - he felt bad for a couple days but that was it - he tested positive at the time - I see no reason for anyone getting the experimental vaccine because the chances of dying are so low - if you are really old you don't have long to go anyway anyway - the shame is that now a days you can't trust anyone - the government - the press - politicians -

What you describe would apply to a dozen other diseases at this time. It is not covid specific. Influenza, pneumonia, cancer...etc. With lockdowns, there is usually no family visits. Also, in all cases patients are sedated so awareness / minimal pain is usually experienced.

No. Speaking for myself, as a Christian, I believe we have a duty to preserve our bodily integrity. We can use our God given practical reason to understand a few things:

- The efficacy of the vaccine is much, much lower than the survival rate of Covid
- It's an 'experimental' vaccine that has been rushed through
- 100's (1000's?) have died / been paralysed / suffered some sort of severe reaction
- There is no legal recourse against any of the above ^
- Even after receiving the vaccine, you still have to toe the line of mask wearing, social distancing, contact tracing, etc.
- It doesn't protect against all the new supposed variants
- You will likely then be encouraged to get regular vaccines
- 'My body, my choice' as the liberals love to say ;)

It's psychological warfare. I don't agree with the whacky Q Anon believers and the 'Trump can't do anything wrong' crowd, however.

This 'pandemic' was certainly weaponized. Whether it was initially a whoopsie or more deliberate in it's release is up for debate (although more and more evidence is pointing to the latter). But I believe they tried to punish the USA for growing nationalist / populist sentiment. Same thing with Brexit in the UK. We are being deprived of local representative government. China is making power moves and showing us who our daddy is.

Thanks for your suggestions and assumptions but your diagnosis is way off Dr. White. I am neither a conspiracy theorist nor a compliancy theorist but I do take a couple of asperin once in awhile. There is a reason it takes time for vaccine approval by Health Canada and that is to ascertain the long term affects of the product. If I have a heart attack I will not be using any of those fake Dr.s or hospitals as they are apparently currently over capacitated, instead I will insist upon a critical care appointment with Dr. White as he is the only one with an authorized experimental Transtemporal Travel Unit in his operating theatre. Glad to see you made it back to 2021,however upon your next cosmonaut encounter I would suggest you go back in time and see how those ferrets made out with the long term effects of their MRNA vaccine. Like I said before I'm holding out until they build a Krispy Kreme near me.

Why would it, they are not an actual vaccines?
These so called vaccines do not stop transmission nor do they stop from spreading it to others. You still have to wear a mask, keep 6ft and continue to abide by all health restrictions as those who are not vaccinated. The only benefits you may gain is less severe symptoms if you contract the virus. These vaccines are only good for a year possibly.

Now that we have different groups that have been fully vaccinated, those people are still locked down.

The only thing that has come a long way is how fast Health Canada approves drugs that have not be properly tested and deemed safe and effective.

Our governments are telling us the way to get back to normal is with vaccines. People need to wake up to the hard facts that once your vaccinated you are not able to go back to normal, all the restrictions stay in place vaccinated or not.

So really what good is making an experimental drug mandatory, when it will not lift any of the health restrictions?
